BRC Global Standard for Food Safety Certificate

On December 15, 2011, UAB Vesiga, a producer of mayonnaises, sauces and other condiments was awarded BRC Global Standard for Food Safety Certificate with the highest A-grade evaluation which is a very important indicator in the background of constantly growing requirements for food quality in Lithuania. Since 2006, the company undergoes these recertification procedures on an annual basis.

BRC Global Standard for Food Safety Certificate covers the entire food safety management system of UAB Vesiga. BRC standard sets out about 300 requirements governing manufacturer’s equipment, personnel qualifications, quality and reliability of primary raw materials, sanitary and hygiene parameters, management system, process management level, quality and food safety self-control, application of scientific-technical achievements in the processes and the company’s progressiveness and development.
